And somehow you think we don't know this? The thing with most non-steam games are that they're not as cheap as what Steam sells them in their super deals.

Oh yes. Knew that for a while, but I was thinking more on the lines of some screen shots, video footage, beta annoncements, etc.... :)

Yeah true...i meant deactivation of license, of course (by selling "back"). But you're right, they'd probably not gain too much. Didn't think that through :p

Sucks if you've bought a physical copy :|

This would be a cool idea. Instead of today's method of having to set 1 PC's steam to offline mode. Now you could have more than 1 PC playing online or multiplayer games with no trouble.
