Shared system memory

As you can see in the above picture, my system has "shared system memory" of 3569MB [which it is sharing from my RAM, if I am not mistaken] and Dedicated graphics memory of 2560MB[which I guess is enough for gaming purposes]. I have 8GB DDR3 RAM. If this shared system memory is using a part of my RAM, does this mean that my system cannot use this 3569MB of RAM that is shared with this graphics? And can I reduce this amount? Because I need the RAM more as 6129MB of graphics memory is surplus to my needs obviously. My bios is Insyde F.29 and it does not provide with options to adjust this shared memory. Please help me here. So frustrated at my games not working smoothly due to this lack of RAM. Thanks.

I am pretty sure it is RAM and not hard-drive memory because:
1. I have googled it.
2. Previously, I had 4GB RAM and the shared memory was 1.5GB. Then I upgraded my Ram to 8GB and now the shared memory increased automatically to 3.5GB.

Did I still get it wrong anywhere?

I have 5GB available right now. But the thing is that when I play games like Fifa 15, it uses about 3-4GB of the Ram and then starts using the paging file, even though about 3-4GB of my RAM is still left unused. Why does this happen?

That is not hdd memory which is called pagefile as far as the system settings is concerned. Technically it is a pagefile but vram pages to ram, then ram pages to hdd. Shared memory can be used as system ram or vram so does not take away from usable. This amount cannot be changed as it is controlled by windows and is a calculated by total system ram. (There's a whitepaper with the equation.) But this makes no difference as it can be used for both. 2.5gb dedicated is more than that igpu needs and would benefit by lowering that since that is lowering usable.

Ironsounds, what folder are you talking about?

Okay so basically it can still be used as ram right?

Hello... Does the game play? Are you over thinking the situation?
You can shut off Page.sys to your hardrives and use pure ram memory in Windows OS... Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System-Advanced system settings-advanced-Performance settings-Advanced-Virtual memory-Change

Ok here is a screenshot of my TaskManager when the game is running..

As you can see, the game is running and a constant amount of ram is being used up even though 4.3GB of RAM is free. It is using the paging file even though there is RAM free [I have set paging size to 0MB. Check the screenshot below]. Please don't mind my repeated questions, I am fed up with this problem. The game lags even with 8GB RAM :(

Windows pages files that are not being used. That low amount is normal. The cause of your lagging is because your igpu is just so weak. No amount of ram or vram will help.

@ironsounds, Nv cache is the shader cache folder. Shaders are not normally kept precompiled and this is not paging. This is also a relatively new feature and shared memory in this form was introduced with vista.
