Idly, I wonder if there are plans to get RDNA 3.0 into mobiles/portables like tablets and thin laptops.

Van Gogh Lite (RDNA 2.0) is supposedly going into cellphones via Samsung, but Samsung had trouble trying to integrate them or an earlier iteration of RDNA.

Idly, I wonder if there are plans to get RDNA 3.0 into mobiles/portables like tablets and thin laptops.

Samsung's Exynos 2400 (SoC) comes integrated with AMD's GPU Xclipse 940 (based on RDNA 3). (Showcased three months ago.)

Xclipse 920 (RDNA 2) was used in a few Samsung smartphones with Exynos 2200. It didn't perform as well as the Adreno 730 in Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (by Qualcomm) though. But Van Gogh as such was apparently good enough to be used in Steam Deck.

Last year, AMD released Radeon 700M iGPUs (RDNA 3), part of the Ryzen 7040 Phoenix APUs. I.e. a version of the HP Pavilion Plus 14 comes with that.

So yeah, AMD already offers something for thin laptops. And I suppose they are still interested to sell something there. By 2022 the revenue of mobile gaming hit more than double of the PC market - and even if not gaming on a handheld device, such as smartphone, there still is interest in CPU performance a nice graphics.
