Shocking: Did the W3C Sell Out to Microsoft?

Would have been nice to explain what the W3C is for noobs like me. I looked it up, but the article seems quite cryptic until we find out what it is. I'm a techie for sure, but honestly I couldn't give a rat's ass about what the W3C thinks about anything, once I figured out what you were talking about.
 
Chrome 7 was released October 19, so I think it's wrong to call it Beta.
 
The real issue here is not any of that, but that all the tests were provided by Microsoft.... so of course they tended to do better on them. This is the stuff they fixed and then wrote tests for!
 
Interesting Firefox 4.0Beta6(Linux)will not open this page but Chrome 8.0.552.28 beta(Linux)will.
