Shoud I upgrade ??

I currently have 7th gen system(pG4560 and b250m-ds3h) installed on my old hp pavilion desktop a6450in , wanted to ask that should i upgrade it to 8th gen or should I leave ??

Without knowing your uses. We'd just be making wild guesses.

8th Gen would also require a new motherboard and possibly a new Windows license. A Kaby Lake i7 (7th gen) would likely make more sense in most cases. An i5 would be too small an upgrade in my opinion.

will there be any change in performance in gaming ??? smooth or very smooth ?? maybe slightly high fps in gta V ????? or simply no change at all

Depends on the game and your current GPU. Assuming you have a good GPU. An i7 can make a huge difference in some games over a G4560. In other games there is hardly any difference. It depends on how CPU intensive each game is and how well it handles multiple cores.
