[SOLVED] Should i 4x4gb or 2x8gb?

I know everyone will say 2x8gb because it preforms slightly better, but the reason im asking this is because i currently have 2x4b, and it would save me some cash if i could just but another 2 sticks of 4gb. Although if it's a stupid idea then ill have to spend the extra bit i guess.

Amd ryzen cpus only support dual channel ram. So expect simmilar performance to your current speed. If you are on the cheap buying another identical kit to install should be fine, just try to get the exact same ram to avoid conflicts.

Nothing wrong with that as long as you try to match the RAM you have in now and buy in matched pairs. That's how I upgraded my Ryzen 1600X.

2X8 puts less stress on the Memory Controller. Adding memory even if identical can be incompatible sometimes.
