Should I be concerned about my HDD status?

I am, at the moment, using a laptop with a Seagate 250 GB SATA II HDD. It had been working with zero issues for probably 2.5 years. After that, on one sudden ominous day, I got cold feet after seeing 3 reallocated sectors displayed in the SMART status. Thankfully, the count stayed at 3 for about 1.5 years. But, today, the count has pushed up to 4 from 3. Should I be worried or should I be happy to let everything follow their own course?
