Should I bin this card?

Hey All,

I have an old video output card (Gigabyte GV-N6400C-2GI) that has stopped working.( The fan still spins, that's it, no picture on any output)

I was going to pull the fan and heatsink, cut the gold fingers off and bin it.

Should I try something to fix it first? Is there even any diagnostic stuff you can do to fix a non functional graphics card.....

It's a GT 640, it doesn't have a lot of value these days. There's not much to do about fixing a videocard, it works or it doesn't. Have you tried using it in another computer? Or have you tried using another card in this computer? It's possible the card does work and the problem is something else.

Thank, that's what I thought. Yeah, I did ckeck it in another pc, same result. She's stuffed. Thanks for the reply
