I am not planning to overclock.

I will be using Intel core i3-6300.

Should I also buy extra fans? My case comes with one rear fan. How do I know which mounts are intake or exhaust?

Fan mounts:
Front (x2) 120/140mm
Top (x2) 120mm
Rear (x1) 120mm

Solution
Top and rear fans are exhaust , fronts are intake.

1 of each is usually sufficient.

If your not overclocking , stock coolers can usually get the job done.

If you ever want a good cheap alternative to the stock cooler , look into the Cryorig H7.

Your CPU NEEDS a cooler. I believe that the newer skylakes do not come with a cooler and you need to purchase one separately.

You can mount fans in your case in any orientation to make them either an intake or exhaust fan. As the guy before me said, generally top and rear are exhaust and bottom and front are intake. But you can do it however you want.
