Should I buy a GTX 980Ti?

Okay, so I'm upgrading to a Ryzen 1700x in a couple days. I'm currently rocking an R9 380x with an FX-6300. I might buy a GTX 980ti to maximize my performance. I would be buying it off ebay, but with careful selection. Should I buy one? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

The GTX 980 Ti is a nice upgrade over the R9 380X. Get it if you want a boost in performance.

Yes, that would be a good combo with the 1700x. Look around on ebay, I bought a mint condition EVGA SC 980ti for $310. I sold my rx480 for $350 haha! DUMB CRYPTO MINERS>>> And you will be set, especially moving from an fx6300.
