Hi, i have wanted a SSD for me: The Crucial MX100 256GB.

But i have a laptop and i have some instruction video's searched on YouTube for how to install it into a laptop..

But is this a good one or must i spend for a expensive one? The price for the Crucial MX100 256GB is now on this moment in euro's (by a safe web-shop): €95,-

Yes SSD makes a big difference.
I had Toshiba satellite with 6 GB ram and a hard disk. But it was very slow, I replaced my hard disk with a 256 GB SSD, it became much much faster.
It was also my first time and I watched a youtube video on how to do it. It is not hard and not dangerous.

compared to traditional laptop drives the SSD (no matter what brand) will be an amazing difference. Go with whatever size you can afford, best brands are (in my opinon) OCZ, Intel, Samsung, Kingston.

As long as the existing HDD in that laptop is the same size (2.5" wide and same height) as the new SSD, AND the laptop uses SATA connection for the hard drive - you should be able to install it.

Some laptops have 2 drive bays and you may be able to install it and keep the existing drive.

Any SSD will be a big improvement over a mechanical HDD, and the MX100 is a good one.

from notebookcheck.com:

"It's easy to replace the hard drive. You simply need to loosen some screws and pull it out. Beside the hard drive there is also a second hard drive slot. So, you could equip the laptop with two hard drives: a fast SSD for the operating system and a conventional hard drive for the data. Unfortunately, a second hard drive cage is not included."

So it looks like you might be able to add the SSD on top of the existing HDD.
