Should i buy a used PSU for cheap or spend extra and get a new one?

I am noticing it to be a lot cheaper to buy a used PSU on kijiji but I am not sure if it is worth the risk. I recently bought a used GPU for a good deal and i am not having any problems with it, what are the risks with the PSU?

It depends on the reason why the PSU is being sold and if it still is under warranty. 2 years ago I bought a SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold for $65 because the seller needed a more powerful PSU.

Look at the brand name and find out the reason it is being sold. Brand name will give you a better idea as to whether it is worth the risk. I never buy used unless i know who i am buying it from. On line never.
