Should I buy an I7 8 GB RAM or A10 12 GB RAM

Hello guys I have two laptops I can buy but I don't know which one has better performance, I'd like to ask you which one is better in your opinion.

Inspiron 15 5548 Core i7 Dell
2.4 GHz Core i7-5500U
RAM 8 GB DDR3

HP Pavilion 15-P231
APU AMD Quad-Core A10-4655M.
12 GB DDR3L SDRAM.

We don't know what you will do with said laptops.

However, the Intel i7 with 8GB RAM is a lot better.

Well I plan on using it with software like Labview , AutoCAD,Inventor and do some gaming.
