I've narrowed down my graphics card to 2 options:
the MSI GTX 1070 DirectX 12 GAMING X 8G 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support ATX
or
EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition, 08G-P4-5173-KR, 8GB GDDR5, LED, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)
The EVGA one has some negative reviews from people saying that theres problems with the thermal pads, and many people report problems of overheating, cooling problems and even catching on fire. However they also say EVGA customer support is the best.
The MSI one has generally very positive reviews, the only negative ones are just saying that it was a lucky bad one that they had to get replaced, but it can happen to any pc part.
The MSI looks cooler, has custom LED lights on it, and is reported to have superior cooling fans and technology.
However, again, people say that EVGA support is the best and they'll replace your cards. Will MSI not do that? I guess thats what it comes down to?
thanks all in advance.
