Hello,

I have a Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 4GB GPU and I do not like the power it has and it is not enough to play the newest game, so my question is. Should I buy another R9 270X and have it Crossfired or should I buy a Nvidia GTX 970 / 980 ? I do not want to spend more money then the R9 270X costs but maybe if I'd sell my current card I could spend on a better GPU! What do you guys think? My specs are listed here below.

AMD FX 8350
Armaggeddon Voltron Gold 600W PSU
Gigabyte R9 270X OC 4GB GPU
Gigabyte AM3+ GA-990FXA-UD5
2TB Seagate SSHD
128GB Mushkin SSD
16 GB Mushkin Blackline 1866 mhz
Thermaltake Chaser A31 ATX
Lite-On DVD

in games where crossfire works and scales well, the R9 270X crossfire will be faster. But you have to have a decent psu, 750W is preferred. You also have to output more heat. The GTX 970 will have similar power consumption as a single R9 270X but perform much faster.
Your psu seems sketchy as well, there no website with the PSU brand, there no information about the psu or the brand. It's is also not on the 80plus certification website either. I wouldn't put two R9 270X on that psu.

A lot of people have said my PSU is shit / sketchy, but here is the link to their website with the PSU.. http://leapfroglobal.com/amg/voltron-gold-600.html

It's not on the 80 plus certified website so its 80plus gold rating is untested. There aren't any reviews on this psu so its quality is undetermined. There no information on the components inside or what OEM unit was used :

I would say that if you can get GTX 980. that would be the best thing for you. Nvidia dropped its price 50$ and you will get BATMAN ARKHAM KNIGHT free with it and its more than enough for 1080p.
