I am in need of getting a new computer. I would rather build a desktop than buy a prebuilt one from the store due to the ability to upgrade whenever i want. I am wanting to save money tho and am considering using Microcenter. I have never heard of them though and would be buying the parts online. Any experiences from people who have used Microcenter for buying parts online.

No one retailer has the best prices. Thats why Partspicker is the best way to go.

Years ago, Newegg was the only place I bought my computer hardware from. Last year, when building my latest computer, I bought 35% from NewEgg, and 65% from Amazon. And that was using the incredibly tedious "check the prices by hand" method. From now on, I use https://pcpartpicker.com/
use this website to select all your components, you will get the best available deal from different merchants. It also lets you know the that the parts are compatible or not.

Micro Center is a legitimate store, but some of their deals are only available in-store. So, if you don't live near a Micro Center you're paying full price.

Use the website linked above since it cross-shops many different retailers so you can get the best prices.

I am using pcpartpicker. I was checking the merchants to try and find the cheapest retailer. What about SuperBlitz? How is that place?
