You need a top tier GPU to dependably and safely run a high-end series card because of the way the power spikes.

If your budget does not allow you to get a GPU and an appropriate PSU for the GPU, then the answer to your question is an easy no.

If you are going to go for a 3080 you might want to consider a quality 850w psu.

Anything in the top tier in this list that's 850W or more.

TY should just wait another 1-2 year or buy now ? or wait for AMD GPU ? thanks
Well if you want to wait for an AMD GPU, I would recommend to consider it days after release because usually youtubers start to come in and review this type of new stuff, Which I would personally, go over a couple of them. It's up to you whether it's worth the buy for your personal needs.

the thing is that I don't know what to do that is why I ask in the first place... ty for the reply I had the money and its already MSRP... in my country almost all GPU above msrp including AMD GPU and this gpu rare to get... I'm afraid that the new AMD GPU is not as good as 3080 at the same price... and if I wait I might lose the MSRP rtx 3080...

Are you looking for a brand new 3080? or a used ebay one

For the money, I see nothing wrong with a 3080 12GB. Early results from the RTX 4080 12GB showed it was about 12% faster than a 3080 10GB. 3080 12GB has more cores and more memory bandwidth, should close the gap.

RTX 4080 12GB (now likely to be the 4070 anyway) $900, or something like $950-1000 for an AIB card.

3080 12GB, $740.

Unless AMD launches some of their more mid-range GPUs earlier than it looks like, you might be waiting a while for a $5-600 card like the 7800, and the price may go up anyway.
