Should I buy the 980 Ti SC+ ACX+ with backplate or 980 Ti FTW Gaming ACX 2.0+???

Well I currently own a 780 Ti SC with ACX and it fits perfectly in my pc..any bigger and it wouldn't fit..And the reason why I'm asking between these two cards is because my 780 Ti uses the power connectors 6-pin and 8-pin and I noticed this 980 Ti FTW uses an 8-pin by 8-pin and was worried it wouldn't work with my pc... I noticed the 980 Ti SC+ ACX+ is 6-pin by 8-pin just like my 780 Ti...So that would be a safe bet but I want the fastest performance card I could get that would fit into my system...So would my pc be able to handle 8-pin by 8-pin?? I have a lot of pin wires coming out of my power supply I think..so I'm not sure if I have the right amount of pins...

And one more thing, I saw a 980 Ti FTW 6 pin by 8 pin on Amazon.com..Is this a mess up or something?? How is there a different version besides the 980 Ti FTW 8-pin by 8-pin??? Sorry if this is confusing, I could really use the help thanks..

Yes it can run the 2x 8pin as it has 2x 6+2pin power connectors.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371044 Also I did some digging and there is only one version of the 980Ti FTW ACX 2.0+. The ACX 2.0+ is the type of cooling.

Which is the best version to buy then? My power supply is an Antec 650w EA-650 green and my motherboard is a Sabertooth X58..Will the power connectors connect to that 980 Ti FTW 8-pin by 8-pin graphics card?? Thanks.

Yes! Thank You! I've been trying to figure this out for hours now...LOL. Ok, last question of mine...Would Amazon be a reliable buying source for the 980 Ti FTW card considering the picture was false on the power connectors??? It seems Amazon.com has the cheapest price for it so I would like to buy it from there but would that be a good idea??? I'm just worried, thanks.

Amazon is has been pretty good. I looked up the part numbers that the Amazon listed on Evga's site to get the true specs and pics of the cards. So the SC+ Gaming ACX 2.0+ card has lower clock speeds and an 6+8pin power connector setup, while the FTW ACX 2.0+ card has clock speeds of around 100Mhz higher and has the 8+8pin power connector setup.

Man, you've been a great help..I truly appreciate it. I was lost and could've easily made a bad buying choice..Thank you very much...I will now buy the 980 Ti FTW from Amazon.com for like $639.99 I think it says... Thanks again..Couldn't have done it without your help.
