[SOLVED] Should I buy the monitor with or without HBR3?

I plan to upgrade from a 1080p monitor to a 1440p monitor. I have decided on the Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q. It is sold "with HBR3" and "without HBR3." I am not entirely sure what that means. I think it means "with DisplayPort 1.3 cable" or "with DisplayPort 1.2 cable," respectively. The price difference is $105 on NewEgg. Do I need the HBR3 to get 165 Hz? I plan on using this monitor for gaming as well as word processing and web browsing. My GPU is the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070. I know that the monitor is officially only a Freesync monitor, but reviews say it also works with Gsync.

HBR3 allows you to run at 165 Hz and 10 bpc color depth at the same time. HBR2 speed is only enough for one of them at a time.
