My father bought 512gb Dahua C800A SSD. Although Dahua is known for surveillance cameras and such, I don't know about their SSD's, does anyone here have an experience with them?
The SSD will be used for the OS and some light work program so nothing too demanding, and in case I return it and get another one it will be either a "Teamgroup CX2" or a "Kingston A400".

Never heard of them. There's a good chance they don't manufacture the SSD. It's likely made by another manufacturer and they just slap their label on it, as is the case with the TeamGroup CX2 and Kingston A400. It's possible that all three models could be the same internally. The CX2 and A400 are both low end drives, likely based on the Phison S11 (which I don't necessarily consider a terrible thing). If that drive is meant for surveillance applications (which I'm skeptical of), it would likely be geared towards higher endurance. You could try using CrystalDiskInfo or the various Flash ID tools to try and figure out what components it uses. My initial thought is that the CX2 and A400 aren't likely to be much of an upgrade.
