Looking for some opinions as I am at the moment out of the loop; I haven't kept up with the industry. The last time I updated my system was around 4 years ago. It's use includes general use, photo editing (Lightroom) and some gaming (SWTOR, Star Citizen).

What if any components should I consider (I am thinking maybe moving to Intel???) Anyhow, see below for current configuration...and thanks.

I should add that I added a second monitor (BenQ BL2420-T)

That Scythe is a decent cooler................but I'm VERY surprised at the price of over 200.

I'd look for another cooler if you can't find that Scythe at much lower price.

What is your current motherboard, CPU, storage, and video card?

Do you have specific complaints about current hardware or just have an upgrade urge?

Thanks for the reply; I should have noted that the link I posted is the system I currently own. PP puts prices on there automatically. Sorry about that.

I would only upgrade if your PC no longer gives you the performance you need.
