Should I create a USB boot disk for Win 10?

Should I create a USB boot disk for Win 10? When would it come in handy? I had an interesting problem a few days ago an a Microsoft tech actually helped me out of the problem, I was shocked. I created a new local account and for whatever reason, windows locked me out of my primary account and I couldn't get back in no matter what I tried.

Would a boot disk have helped me in situation like this?

hi john_485 usb boot disk will definitely install new windows 10 on your machine and/or run a recovery but in terms of account recovery might not be possible

I appreciate the response. Where's the benefit in that if I have a Windows 10 Installation CD? Or are we talking about a system-wide crash in which the only way forward would be a USB boot disk?
