Should I disable pagefile.sys on my ssd?

I don't have much experience in dealing with the whole memory scene, but from what I have found on different sites says a whole mess of different opinions. My issue is that I need to free up space on my ssd and the only thing I can be rid of that I can tell was the large pagefile.sys I have, close to 16gb in size.

I have never seen my memory go above 10gb so I figured why should I bother with the pagefile.sys. My concern is from what I have read on other sites is that it is dangerous to disable it, but I myself am not seeing the danger, but as I said I am not that experienced when it comes to how memory works, so what is the best course of action?

Most would tell you set your crash dumps to small and the paging file to 200 - 400 mb.
You need a paging files for crash dumps - and it wont work worth a flip if you move it to another drive.
There's a small program called 'System Crawler' that once you figure out to look for pagefileusage, will tell you what paging you are using and what you have used in a login session. Good thing to look at sometimes.
Win10 - 8gb ram, my largest I[ve noticed was about 290mb .. so i set it 330 to give some spare.

Thank you for this, I went through this guide and I actually was able to free up nearly 25gb of space.
