should I format my d drive after a restore

I restored my vista system completely . now I noticed in properties on my d drive 9.99Mb its all blue nothing on it , I received a pop up notice to format this drive should I the computer is working fine off the C drive now?

There's no need for it, there isn't much you can do with a 10MB drive and Windows usually leaves about 9MB unallocated. Some space at the end of the disk is reserved by Windows Setup in case you later want to upgrade the disk to a dynamic disk. Dynamic disk information is saved at the end of the disk. The amount that is reserved is a minimum of one cylinder, or 1MB, whichever is greater. One cylinder can be up to 8MB, depending on drive geometry and translation.

so what you are saying leave it there its not much space anyway,its just a picture of a big blue pie with 00 used space I thought it was for a recovery like another storage point when the computer was running good, I guess .

Yeah, leave it as is. Recovery drives are usually larger.
