should i get 8gb or 16gb? for world of warcraft legion

which one would be faster and sufficient for world of warcraft??? 8gb or 16gb?

specs

intel i7 7700k 4.2ghz (with hyper d92 cpu cooler)
asrock fatal1ty B250 gaming motherboard
xfx 390 r9 8gb 512-depth
>evga g3 650w powersupply<
128gb hyper x solid state (for now)



what im planning to get not sure to get one 8gb or two 8gb sticks

If you ever might want 16gb, buy a 2 x 8gb kit up front.
Adding ram later is not guaranteed as to compatibility.
There is no negative with extra ram except for the some$35 extra.

It is not clear what you now own or, are you looking at an upgrade.

WOW is not particularly cpu demanding, I7-7700K is considerable overkill.

FWIW, I love a ssd, but 120gb is too small today for a "C" drive, and I like the performance and reliability of Samsung evo better.

that game is not that ram intensive, you can do well with 8 gbs of ram, you can monitor ram usage by installing afterburner and rivatuner, there is many manuals on how to set it and see while you play, if ram usage reaches over 6 gbs or not, if it goes over 6 gbs, add more ram is not a bad idea
