I have no idea if I am doing this right as I've never posted on a forum before, but to provide a little more context, I recently got a PS4 slim. Anyways I am having a hard time choosing between getting a monitor or TV. For the monitor side of things I think my main choice at the moment unless you guys have any other suggestions would be the BenQ RL2755 and for the TV I haven't really done much research on that yet. Anyways, personally I always prefer the biggest possible screen on anything, phones, computers, etc. I'm sure I would be fine with the monitor as 27 inches is still quite a large screen. I am a really competitive gamer, but I would also watch a lot of YouTube, Netflix, and other content on whatever I end up getting. I also want to start streaming to twitch or YouTube if that helps build some more context. This is why I am having a hard time choosing between the monitor or a TV since the monitor would be better for competitive gaming, but I would also watch a ton of movies and videos which I think the TV would be better for. What do you guys think?

Solution
A TV is fine up to about 32" then you will start to notice pixels.
You mention that you are a competitive gamer and that would benefit from a high refresh rate monitor.
G-sync or Freesync variable refresh rate monitors are supposed to be awesome.

I used nice 24" 75 Hz monitor, now I use a 32" 60 Hz TV because the 38" monitor I want costs $1,500.
