I am looking at upgrading my graphics card from a GeForce GTX 670 to a MSI Graphics Cards GTX 970 GAMING 4G Golden Edition http:// and i'm wondering if I should be getting a new PSU with it so i'm not putting it on too much strain and have it fail. My current PSU is a 750W. also my current components are:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series Cooling H75
Motherboard: MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-G45 GAMING
RAM: CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB
PSU: SeaSonic SS-750KM3 750W
2x HDD and a SSD soon to come

Solution
Your more than fine.

A GeForce GTX 970 only needs 28 amps on the 12v rail and a 500 watt power supply with 2 PCIE power connections.

Your PSU easily exceeds these requirements.
