Should i get a new psu

Hello, I am considering on getting a new gpu the MSI GTX 970, but was considering of getting a new psu but dont want to pay alot for one also i have a 500w psu coolermaster already with my fx6300 + 7850 2gb and i dont have a 8 pin connector or more than 1 6 pin so do i need to get a new psu? If so please suggest me one that isn't too expensive and about 550w-650w.

If it's a Cooler Master without the proper connections to power the card , yes you need a new PSU.
