Should I get a Pentium g4560 or i3 7100 for Gaming

I can't decide what to get. I can spend around $125 for for my processor. The i3 looks like is has better gaming performance and I will be paring it with a gtx 1050ti. I don't plan to another upgrade for 2 to 3 years so I want to get something that will be able to keep up. I would like to run High/Ultra settings around 50 to 60 FPS on AAA titles. Not sure if the i3 7100 is worth the extra money if the performance difference is no that big. THANKS!

Your better off waiting for Ryzen 3 or saving for Ryzen 5, also save up for a RX 570/GTX 1060 at the very least. AAA titles for 3 years at high settings 60fps isn't going happen with a 1050.

The G4560 is descent enough for most games. You can look at some reviews for what to expect:

I'm also waiting to see what AMD brings to that price segment, and when the hell is AMD going to bring it?

But for now, the G4560 owns the price/performance crown for anything less expensive than a Ryzen 1400.

Yea, I think im going to get a RX 470. Would the 4560 bottleneck?

Nope Pentium G4560 would be fine.
