Question Should I get a Ryzen 5 2400G or GTX 1660 Graphics card?

So basically, I wanna play bigger games like BFV, new Modern Warfare that's coming out, DOOM Eternal, and stuff like that, the games that I KNOW I can't run very well
(I can get about 30-40 fps on BFV)
So I figured that I'll need a new GPU or a CPU But I can't quite decide which one should I get.
One friend tells me to get a new CPU and the other to get a new GPU so I figured that I would appreciate a disscussion about the problem that I'm currently facing

Any suggestions/opinions will be helpfull

What are your current specs including make and model of psu.

The 1660 or 1660ti is much more powerfull than the vega 11 in the 2400g.
