Should I get a smart watch or a new laptop?

My old laptop recently died, I was planning on getting a smart watch but now I don't have a laptop. Should I get the smart watch or a new laptop? (My budget is around £150-200)

To me there is no right answer there. I don't really think I would use a smart watch but if you get a lot of everyday use then perhaps because you wont get much of a laptop for that budget. Maybe you could think of getting a chromebook if you only need it for web browsing

smartwatch is a toy ... not that needed .. we all have regular watches. and I guess you have a mobile phone as well.

... you wont find light gaming notebook for 150-200 pounds ... and taxes are very high in europe ... not like USA.

by light gaming I really do mean light. I was going to recommend a chromebook if he didn't do any and then the latops you suggested if he did. you can't get anything decent for that budget really I know. I live in the UK btw not US.

Chrome books are same hardware of the notebooks I posted ... he can install Linux/Chrome on them if he wants.

by choosing chrome you are ditching 100$ worth of Windows 8

True I didn't really take in quite how cheap those laptops were. They would be a better choice then.

Actually it's totally up to you. Which one is more necessary for you? If you think that you really need a Smart watch then you can go for a Smart watch. I think your budget is not enough for a Laptop. You have to increase your budget, if you want to go for Laptop. But you can get a smart watch within your budget. You can take a look on upcoming Modular smart watch or Moto 360.
