Hi,

I had a 750 Ti, never used it, sold it because I didn't need it at the time.

A month and a bit down the line, I now want to start gaming. I want to play at 1080p and I want to be playing Far Cry 3/4 and CS:GO, maybe some Fallout 4.

I have a Core i5 4460 @ 3.2GHZ, 8GB RAM, and 120GB SSD and a 1TB HDD, as well as a 500W EVGA W1 PSU.

How does the 660 compare with the 750 Ti apart from the Maxwell architecture? Here is the 660 I am looking at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Asus-nvidia-geforce-gtx-660-2048mb-graphics-card-/172225292878?hash=item28196d6a4e:g:ZbwAAOSw6btXTY4H

Thanks, Alex Kensit

it should be fine the only worry is that the seller does not offer returns but you got ebay money back so if it does not work your safe
how much a 750 ti?

if its the same price as the 750ti, then get the gtx 660. keep in mind it does use more power/produce more heat but it is a more powerful card.

Wouldn't get a 650Ti, getting a bit too far down the performance stakes for 1080p.
Maybe the 650Ti boost if you can find one, they were very good when they came out but they seem uncommon here, maybe because better options became available shortly after.

Or if you can find a good deal on a 760 jump the lot of them and go for that. Gaming on any of these cards at 1080p is possible but they are all a compromise and will not max out settings on a lot of games.
