Should I get an aftermarket NB heatsink and fan?

Hi everyone, I'm new to overclocking and have just managed to get my old Athlon x4 2.8GHz to 3.5GHz and it is running stable (I've had to raise FSB as the CPU multiplier is locked). My Mboard is GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P.

I've installed a watercooler on the CPU which is doing a decent job, but I'm noticing now that the Northbridge is still getting pretty hot. During stress tests the CPU reaches a max of 50c, which I can live with, but the NB is getting up to 61c at max, which is just out of the realms of comfort for me.

So 2 questions, 1. is 61c at max in a stress test acceptable for the NB? 2. If not should I get a fan and heatsink for it to replace the stock?

Thanks for reading!

First, and you may have to use a mechanics stethoscope mirror, see if theres heatsink paste under the heatsink.
You'd might find that there is none, just the heatsink held down by spring pressure.
