Should I get Microsoft's Lumia 950?

Hi all, recently I've been debating whether or not to make the switch to a Windows phone. A friends of mine says they're pretty good, though his is an older model (A 520, I think). I am well aware of the lack of applications on the Windows platform, but I'd like to give it a try. I am a longtime user of the iPhone and iPad, but I recently switched over to a Windows tablet/laptop hybrid (ASUS Transformer Book T100 TAM). Any tips or suggestions? Thanks.

It's a good phone with a good camera, only "issue" if you can call it that is the Windows OS on it. If that is OK for you to use, then you are good.

Although there are less apps for it, it's not really a lack, I mean does anyone really need thousands of apps? I don't know anyone that uses more than a dozen or so regularly. Having 100 clones of Flappy Birds may technically add to the list, but do we really need that?

Thanks for the information. I've been wanting to switch over, but I didn't think I knew enough.
