Should i get what speed of Ram?

So im planning to build a pc which has an APU im considering to buy ram but dont know either 1600mhz 1x8GB ram or 1866mhz 1x8 GB ram im not running so much things and im planning to play Minecraft with the pc..btw dont suggest me to buy 2x8GB ram im on a budget 😀

buy the faster ram if in on the mb qal guild. the faster the ram the better it is for the apu chip.

Knowing the specific CPU and motherboard you are considering would help people answer this question. It sounds like you might be talking about an AMD CPU?

I don't know a lot about AMD CPUs/mobos, so I don't want to say too much. However, if your motherboard supports dual-channel memory you are better off going with a 2x4GB set than 1x8GB if your motherboard has the space.
