Should I go R9 290 or Gtx 970?

Ok I want to make a Clear I will never exceed 1920x1080p Reoultion for say 5years.
I m not into 4K
Future Build Monitor is/are:
LG 21.5inch LED Monitor (22M35D)
LG 21.5inch IPS Monitor (22MP56HQ)
Samsung 21.5inch LED Monitor (LS22D300BY)
These are the only Budget Monitor Options.

You can also choose the BenQ GL2250HM, it's one of the cheapest options, and it's the one I use.It has awesome picture quality after a few tweaks on the definitions.

Gtx gets more fps in games, stable fps when vram usage is below 3.5gb, cooler, uses less power that means you can save on psu and power bill.

For those monitors, on the same price bracket the comparison would be between the GTX 970 vs the R9 290x, the 290x being a more long term investment. If you don't plan to go beyond 1080p for now the 290 or 280x will do you well, then there is the GTX 960 but that super gimped memory bus might have problems with recent and tomorrow's games.

Ok How many Power Supply Wattage I require for R9 290 and R9 290X?

Honestly, the 290x isn't worth, because the money wasted in watts would eventually reach the price of the GTX 970. On the other hand, the 970 would save you a lot more power. Maxwell architecture is wonderfull in terms of performance per watt.

r9 290x 250-300 wat only for graphics card, but the 970 only requires 150-200 max.
