Question Should I have so many apps and processes running?

Hi,
I have never noticed it before, so dont know if its always been like this, but when I look at Task Manager -
Processes Window, it shows
2 x Apps,
62 x Background Processes,(which are mainly, Avast, Win Defender, Razer Synapse, Razer Chroma, AMD etc),
102 x Windows Process - 80 of which are Service Host processes

Is it normal to have that main Windows Processes running, and in particular Service Host processes.
As I say, it may be normal but I have never really noticed it before. Thanks
