[SOLVED] Should i hold the power but or go ALT+F4 then shut down

I was wondering should i hold the power button on my cases to fully shutdown my pc or should i go ALT+F4 then click shutdown
i also i have LEDs connected to my pc that dont shut off unless i hold the power button im going to be gone for a week and dont want my PC to run into any problems when im gone.

The reason the leds stay on is when you tell wimdows/most os's to shutdown the system it doesn't always fully tell the psu to shutdown / deepending on your mobo and things in the system some items will request power usage well the system in itself is shutsdown. If you dont want the leds to be on wjen you leave turm the switch on the psu off. But alway use alt f4 to shut down your pc. Or click windows icon power logo and shutdown. Holding the power button can cause power surges to components

So when i shutdown my pc my LEDs stay on idc that they stay on but im leaving for a week is that alright if they stay on

Im going for a week and when im gone im going to shutdown my pc by going ALT+F4 and shut it down im scared thought there is an expected power outage, if my pc is shut off by shutting it down, will the power shutting off affect my PC

No if nothing it may save it just don't relay on power switch only, disconnect mail supply cable.

So I just left for a week and I shut off my pc by going ALT+F4 then when it was fully shut down turn the switch off on my outlet my outlet has a switch to shut the power off my pc was fully shut down and then I turn the power of fully from my outlet will thus affect my pc in anyway or will it be fine also I do not have a switch on my psu
