These are the 2 kits I have (if it matters):

Neo Forza MARS 32GB (2x16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 4400 (PC4 35200) RGB SDRAM Desktop Memory Model NMGD416E82-4400GF20 - Newegg.com

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 4000 (PC4 32000) Desktop Memory Model F4-4000C18D-64GVK - Newegg.com

Which one should I install? Is it better to go with the faster one or the bigger one?

Is the faster RAM actually noticeable enough to justify losing 32GB overhead for "just in case I need it" potential scenarios?

What would one normally do with 64GB if you're not using serious CAD or something. RAMDisk? Is that still a thing?

Thanks.

The biggest RAM hog I know of that I used is browser tabs. Like this past Black Friday event, but I don't think I even reached 32 GB because I actually had the 64GB one installed and it was like 40% max. But I guess if I had decided to launch a game to take a break...perhaps I wouldn't need to close my browsers? Is that how it works?

I don't do any CAD or stuff like that.

Having a bunch of browser tabs open AND launching a game also taxes the CPU.

So its not just RAM.
