So my pc's storage is made out of a 500GB HDD(still in good shape) and a 250GB Kingston SSD(brand new). I have my windows 10 already installed on my SSD leaving 180GB of free space on it. And then I had the idea to install only 1 game on it like the primary game something 60 to 80gb like GTA V or rainbow six siege so my question is, is it a great or a bad idea? Will it leave enough space for the windows updates?etc My friend told me i shouldnt install games on such a small SSD because the more you change things on it the faster it breaks but i dont really know about that

Solution
If you play a game(s) WAY more than others, yeah sure put it on your SSD, it will decrease load times, especially for games like GTAV.

Generally consensus for how much free space you should keep on an SSD is somewhere around 10%-20%, so try and keep at least 30gb free if you want to avoid any possibility of space related slowdowns.

Don't worry about "wearing out" your SSD, while it is true that constant changes will eventually wear out an SSD, its not something you really have to be concerned about.
Well no because some tech channels actually recommend just putting a few games on the SSD and then having an HDD for the rest so the games you play a lot load faster and such it should be fine tho I'd definitely look into a 1 TB SSD or 2-3 TB HDD.

Yeah, use your ssd where you can. Gta5 or any open world games fair much better with faster drives.

Regarding free space, should leave a bit but don't worry about it too much. Ssd's are getting cheaper, next time you have a chance get another.
