Question Should i make schedule or let it run on default ?

I think it slows down my pc,i get notification saying my pc has been scanned 13 times lol.Is it safe to make schedule for full run or to leave it as default ?

What AV software are you running?

What exactly, where, and how is the notification appearing?

Scanned 13 times over what time span: a day, a week, a month...?

AV programs should be running in the background but as an end user you should be able to set both the type of AV scan and the frequency of scheduled scans.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

There could be other things going on and the system, for example, may not meet the requirements for a "speedy" scan.

Windows 10 default antivirus,im not sure when and how many times it appears,but it comes from a notification.

In the "Type here to search" box (lower left corner) type Windows Security.

Doing so should result in a "Security at a glance" window,.

There are quite a number of configurable options available to you.

Explore first and do not immediately change anything. Note the current configuration settings.

Many settings (scan options and others) are within Virus & threat protection.
