Hello, i have an Asus motherboard (i don't know the model because it is not displayed), and a gainward geforce 8600 gt.
The gpu is quite good for the games i want(cod 4 mw1,cod 2...) but it is easily getting hot(some times VERY hot) and my asus mobo has a small fan on it's cooler that can be easily moved to the gpu.
Should i move the fan to the gpu?
Thanks

Passively cooled cards do tend to run hot - I presume that you are not trying to overclock it! If you removed the fan from the CPU then that would quickly overheat and shut the computer down.

If you are worried about the heat then buy a 8600GT with a fan from eBay; it will cost you less that $20.

i am not trind to move tha fan from the cpu but from the motherboard and i now that motherboards generaly dont have fans
