[SOLVED] Should I pair my i5 2550k with a rx 570 or a rx 580?

Here is my pc specs:
intel i5-2550k
b75m-d3v motherboard
ddr3 8gb 1333mhz ram

I am planning to upgrade my gpu, gtx 1050.
Will the i5 2550k bottleneck rx570 and rx580 card? and which one is the best for the i5 2550k?
(I know it is 2020 now the i5 2550k has outdated.)

Of the 2, the 580 is the more powerful card. Both however, will pair nicely with your i5 2550. At this point, it comes down to price.

What PSU do you have?

I see that you have 8GB of RAM. Upgrading to a 16GB Kit will also bring you a nice boost in performance. (a 16GB kit, not another 8GB)

Is upgrading to a DDR4 based system a possibility? What GPU do you have now? If it's OK, you may want to give serious thought in upgrading your base system 1st. If you aren't sure, give us a max realistic budget.

I have a corsair 550w psu (vs550), do i need to get more watt psu if i get the rx580?
Sadly...i did not planning for upgrading to ddr4 based system, sorry.

I play the game like pubg, overwatch, black desert online.

With the hardware you have and no plans to upgrade, I would advise either an rx580 or 1060 max. Anything more powerful would not give you much in the way of return performance. As you know, your i5 2550 is a quad core @ 3.4ghz with DDR3 memory support.

It entirely depends on your in-game settings. Here is a video with an rx560 and a i5-2500. The game runs OK but your PC with a 570 or 580 would have better performance.
