I am somewhat good with computers, and I just bought a custom built PC. It boots on, all fans spinning, lights on, no beeps, but nothing on display. I messaged the person I bought it from, and they said it worked with HDMI the day the shipped it. They have 100 % positive feedback, and tried helping me a bit. They said to make sure the gpu is fully inserted, and that it is plugged in as it might've moved in shipping. I put force to make sure that it was inserted, but it still isn't working. Should I remove the graphics card, put it back in and see if that works?

I would contact whoever built the computer, especially if it's a company, and do what they ask you to do.

You don't want to void the warranty, if there is one.

Test the monitor also and make sure it's working, and set to the right input. Try a different HDMI output if there is one.

It is a custom build, not from a factory aka no warranty. I can return it if the product is faulty, but I really would not like to as it is a very good pc. I tried 3 different hdmi cables all of which worked on my screen with another pc. It's on the right input, and there is only one hdmi port.

Are you using the HDMI port on the motherboard or the Videocard?

Video card, no hdmi on motherboard

I bought it with the graphics card installed, and no it does not have onboard graphics. I have not removed or put in the graphics card yet.

I don't like recommending you open the case and move things around, reason being is that the builder could easily claim it was tampered with and refuse to replace it.

I would open the case and check two things
If the GPU has a power cable on the top, make sure it's connected.
Pull the CMOS battery out and put it back it, flashing the BIOS.

And try again.

If it has DVI or some other connector type, try that

If not, go back to the seller and see if he'll cover the cost for a diagnostic at a computer shop.

Alright, I don't have dvi on me but the board does have that.

Just make sure it's returnable before you start taking things apart, in case something else breaks and you can't return it.
