Light bleeding on the edges of the screen is normal on an IPS monitor. I've never owned one before so I don't know how much light bleed there should be. But I do know that is normal, which is why I like to stick to TN panels. Keep in mind however, that a TN panel will not have the same vibrant colors an IPS monitor would.
