Okay so i have a 660 ti, i only play games like COD and WOW. Theres a huge bottleneck from certain components i have and i only get a max of 50FPS at max OC so i really have no use for such i overpowered GPU. Also does anybody want a MSI 660 Ti Power Edition with Twin Frozer Fans, Bluw LED lights and only used two months

CPU: Intel i5 3570k
GPU: MSI 660ti Power Edition
PSU: Seasonic 750w 80plus Gold
16GB of 1600Mhz Corsair DDR3 RAM
500GB WD Green
120GB Samsung 840 Series
MOBO: ASUS Saberooth Z77
All fans replaced with Corsair SP120, AF120, AF140
Corsair H100i With Two SP120 Corsair fans 1400rpm

I just don't use the 660 to its full potential

Wow, just wow. I would kill for that and I probably have the rig you need....LOL. Had to build two computers so my girl and I could play SimCity (that turned out well...lmao) and I was eyeing a rig almost exactly like yours until the budget got cut in half.

I wouldn't sell the 660ti. You aren't going to get what you paid for it, but if you can get what you paid, sell it.

Your basically throwing money in a pit if you don't get what you paid and it is good to have some extra horsies in case you need them for a game later on.

I would actually sell it if your interested, I'd have to add up all my parts but I could give u a price

That would be great but I bought and built both PC's already (got them finished the night SimCity launched), so that money is gone.

I appreciate the offer, but I have upgrade plans for these. I built them so that the cards can move to one PC (crossfire) and I could buy another stronger card later for one of them. Plus I can upgrade the processors in them.

However, if you are interested in selling the machine or any of the parts Tom's has a forum for Deals that many people put things up for sale.

Dude no.. Just no...
You absolutely use that card to its full potential!!!!
You gotta be kidding me!
Your computer.. A lot of people would love to have a computer that nice. Trust me, your computer doesnt bottleneck the 660ti at all.
the 660ti is just not very fast lol

I was wondering the same thing once I re-read it. OP, if you don't mind, what do you think could be causing a bottleneck and in what games are you expecting to get higher framerates that you are not?

Can a monitor bottleneck a GPU

No, not for the whole thing

In some games you could not be using it to its full potential if you have a low resolution monitor. "Bottlenecking" isn't the right word though.

Some games are demanding even at low resolutions though.

You should stop worrying.

OP are you serious? If anything your graphics card is bottlenecking your system. You could easily replace your 660ti with a Titan or 690 and use it to it's full potential.
