Well, that's kind of up to you. Nobody here can tell you how to feel.

However, I will note that you're unlikely to get $1500 now for it used, so if you hope to simply turn back the clock and never purchase the PC, that may not be an option.

You bought it on credit? $50/month?

PCs aren't just for gaming. Where are you in the school/work/life timeline? This system may become more useful than you think.

Take this as a learning lesson.

The absolute single most important thing my father ever passed along to me:

When I was young my father owned and operated a construction/handyman business. He got caught up in all the money he was making, got to comparing himself to the Joneses, married a high profile money grubbing wife (gosh I really didn't like her). About the time I was 9-10 or so the economy tanked like crazy and all the high interest debt he had run up buying toys on credit came back and bit him in the butt.

The lesson to come out the other end of watching him lose almost everything, including the clothes on his back was this.
NEVER purchase on credit aside from very few things, obviously like a house. NEVER purchase something that you cannot pay cash for, especially if it isn't something you need in order to survive tomorrow. Live within your means and you will always be well off.

I hope you don't take that as me being preachy, because I am not trying to be. You are young and mistakes will be made. Just learn from them. In this case, hopefully it is something that will also build credit for you. Use it as a tool for that, and may as well enjoy it because one way or the other, you will pay for it.

This isn't the kind of decision you want to make with haste. While at times, it is true that some people get into gaming to the point where it interferes time wise with work or chores, you didn't indicate that to be a problem.

Everybody needs something to look forward to during idle times, and even though video gaming is not as invigorating physically as say playing ball in the park, or riding a bike, the way your hobbies affect your mood is also very important.

Speaking of which, video gaming can also affect your mood positively or negatively, and often times it's due to the type of game you're playing, or something else going on in your life. Mixing up the type of games you play and taking breaks can help.

It seems like perhaps this feeling came about over the dread of paying the $50 every month for a long time, than the gaming itself. Have you considered trying to find a way to make up that amount each month by tightening your budget elsewhere or doing odd jobs?

When I was a kid I made spending money off doing odd jobs for neighbors like lawn mowing, shoveling snow off walks in winter, etc. Don't be quick to get down about it, you just might find another thing you love doing because of it. One door closes, another opens.

What spesification does this pc have?
I kinda feel with you. I bought myself a gaming pc soon a year ago after having consoles for 10 years or so. I mostly play single player games and i can soon just not justify the price of a expensive pc since it’s not often a new big game launch. So i could maby be back to my ps5 but also affraid to regret.

What cause you to be bored after only 3 months? What have you played so far? Could give you a few advices about great games if that help, i dont think it’s worth selling it since you took a loan on it, but if you totaly lost interest then its better to sell it now while you get most for it.
