Hello, my system specs at the moment are in my bio. I am building my next gaming PC though and when it is finished it will have cost over $1000 and I would like to make a bit back by selling my current PC. But my rpoblem is I am using some parts in my current one to save some money like the DvD drive, hard drive because it has all my games and other stuff on it. That is about all I am saving. Should I sell it on Craigslist as an incomplete build? I have looked on Craigslist for gaming PCs and a lot of people try to rip you off by saying that their custom pc is the ultimate gaming pc and will run anything when the buyer, if not a lot of knowledge of PCs, ends up buying a AMD Radeon 5450 and an i3 processor for $600? Scumbags right? I think I would be giving a very good deal because my current system actually CAN run new games on high settings. Should I sell it or keep it as a spare? If i do sell it, anything I should remove that would not let them get into any of my stuff?

Can sell it outright, or piece it out (may get better prices), keep for parts, or if you are doing the building, keep an ear open for anybody complaining about their rig, offera deal on the part and a small fee for the switch/install (they also may let you keep the old part (which you can then do this again with))...Lot's of options, even hold on to it and then upgrade the older parts you put into your new rig and get the old one back together to sell as a entire rig
