So i bought my first gaming pc for $905, the only game i play is overwatch and some other battle royal games, and ive been seeing my fps is dropping pretty hard till the time i dont enjoy the game, so i have a 144hz monitor and before i could have 144 fps but now i drop down to 70/80 just 3min into a game after I turn my pc on, so im wondering if i should consider selling my pc and buying a new one or upgrade or anything like that, becuase I love the games I play but not with the low fps as im getting and i play with everything low and 50% renderscale and im still on 80 fps after 5 min so what would be a reasonable price to sell the pc for ive had it for nearly 2 years or something i cant really remember.

Heres the specs:

gtx1060 3gb

i5 6400 2,7ghz can be oc to 3,3

8 gb ram ddr 4

1 tb harddrive

118 gb ssd

im a kid that dosent know much about pc's so check out this amazon or from the acer website with the exact same specs.

https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/predator-model/DG.B1PEK.013

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-Computer-Quad-Core-Bluetooth/dp/B06X1B4RYM

i also have a 60 hz monitor and premium gaming pheriphials

so how much would this be worth and what should i do ?

would be aprichiated if someone could help me out.

sorry for my bad english....

Yep, check the startup menu ( CTRL+ALT+DEL to get into the Task Manager) then open the ' Startup ' tab and disable any programs you don't want running when you are gaming, this will free up memory and CPU resources.

Slowdowns under load can be caused by overheating, download and install MSI Afterburner and have it show the CPU and GPU temperatures in the OSD while gaming.
For MAXIMUM performance Nvidia cards like to be kept below 65C, once over that temperature the Boost speed will drop, you can use Afterburner to set a custom fan profile for the card that will keep it cooler by running the fans faster.
