Should I SLI a r9 290x?

With Black Friday sale coming up, and newegg discounts, would SLI on http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202042 (r9 290x) be any good? Would it be better than a SLI GTX 770? Note I'm running an 8 core AMD CPU, along with 16 GB ram

Well you wouldn't SLI them because those are Radeon's which are designed for Crossfire. I know people who have crossfired them but noise levels and inconsistent frame rates are underlying issues at this point.

yes it would be better than SLI 770s. But beware of loud fans, gpu throttling, and inconsistency
